Oftentimes, poets try really hard to make a poem unique and end up making it very complicated and hard to understand, but as I was reading yours, It really hit home. your poem had ideas I remember thinking when I was with my first (and only) girlfriend, and it made me reminisce on those moments we shared together. I consider this poem beautiful because I define a beautiful piece of writing as the following: when you’re able to break down a complicated concept like love into something that is easy to understand.
